Hōma brings together in one place the holiday homes of the far south of Bahia: from Santo André to Caravelas, by way of Arraial d'Ajuda, Trancoso, Caraíva, Corumbau, Cumuruxatiba, Guaratiba and Prado.
We are not a booking platform. You find the house here, you click, and you talk straight to whoever looks after it. No sign-up, no basket, nobody standing in the middle of the conversation.
That's the difference. The big platforms charge the owner a commission of up to 15% on every booking, and that cost always comes back built into the nightly rate. Take the middleman out and more stays with the person who owns the house, while the rate gets better for the person staying in it.
Every house here is listed by the person who owns it or looks after it. They're the one who answers on WhatsApp, agrees the dates and meets you when you arrive. Hōma makes the introduction, then gets out of the way.
No commission
Hōma takes no percentage of any booking. What you agree is between you and whoever looks after the house.
